Acerc participate at 4th edition of the Balkans Oil & Gas Summit to take place on 23-24th October in Athens


With the Official Support and Endorsement from all
Balkans Governments, the 4th Balkans Oil & Gas Summit is a
flagship event held by the global summits organiser, IRN, on yearly since
September 2012.

This year, IRN will host a Black Sea focused Workshop
on the third day of the Summit and an Adriatic Sea workshop, on the geology of
offshore Black Sea and Adriatic Sea countries, and latest development plans
connecting with the current and upcoming licensing rounds.

IRN has established close relations with regional
stakeholders over the past few years, and as a result, host this important Summit
as the platform where regional Governments meet with key oil and gas players,
sharing updates on developments, discussing industry feedback, establishing key
relationships and setting the grounds to do more business.

Last year’s Summit included important announcements, a
press conference held the day before the Summit on the developments in the
region; 300 delegates and 70 IOCs attending, and a Workshop on the Adriatic Sea
led by Spectrum and the Montenegrin Ministry of Economy. Major oil and gas
companies operating in Greece, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania and Bulgaria were present last year to meet in a 5*
venue and discuss the region with peers and Officials.

Hellenic Petroleum, Bankers Petroleum, Weatherford,
Spectrum and Aggreko were amongst the sponsors last year while delegates came
from every national and international oil and gas company operating in the
region, including those also looking to get involved. Edison, Gazprom, Shell, Wintershall,
Zeta Petroleum, BG Group, DEPA, Bulgartansgaz, INA, ExxonMobil, Petromanas,
Repsol, Statoil, Sonatrach, SOCAR, Plinacro, Marathon Oil, Romgaz and San Leon
are amongst those who attended.
